The site is infact is now bought by Microsoft for the purpose of boosting their Internet search and e-commerce business .
2.What's in there for its members ?
Now the most important part , you will be paid for sharing your opinions . You can write reviews about various products ranging from movies , electronic appliances to perfumes , dishes , etc . You be credited for writing reviews and the ratings that your reviews get .
3.How to join and is there any fee ?

4.What is rating and who will rate my reviews ?
The ratings reveal the value and relevance of your reviews . Your reviews will be rated by other members of the site while you will be rating their reviews .
5.How much can I earn ?
Another important question , there's no limit to how much u can earn . The more friends you have there and more reviews you write , the more rating you will receive for your reviews and hence more money you will earn . The payout is only $5 though . You will be paid once in the second week of every month . Payment is made via Paypal .
6.How many reviews can I write ?
You can write as many reviews as you wish . There's no limit .
7.How to view your own profile ?
First login using your ciao name and password . Then click "MyCiao" link at the top right corner of the page ( SEE PICTURE ).
8.How to search for a friend by ciao name ?
Click Member Centre link at the top right corner of the page ( SEE PICTURE ).Then in the page that opens type the name of the member you want to add and then click search ( SEE PICTURE ). If a member by that name is found details of that member is returned . Click the Ciao name of the member in the results to visit the member's profile . In the member's profile you will find a button called "Add To My Friends" ( SEE PICTURE ).Click that button and then follow the instructions .
9.What is Circle of Trust (COT) and how to add a member to my COT?
Circle of Trust or COT as the name suggests is adding someone to your trust zone . You will probably like to add someone to your COT whom you know or someone who regularly reads and rates your reviews . To add a member to your COT , visit the member's profile and click the button named "Add to My Circle of Trust" to the right of your screen ( SEE PICTURE ) .
10.Where to find a member's reviews so that I can rate ?
You will find that in the member's profile ( SEE PICTURE ).Click each link to read the review . Just below the review you will find the rating options and below that is a option called "Write a comment about this review" - click that to write your comments .
Go to the member's profile and on the write of the page click a button labeled "Post a Comment on the Wall" and leave your message in the window that opens ( SEE PICTURE ).
12.How To search a product so that I can write a review ?
You can search a product from your Ciao Profile page . On the upper right side of page you will find a textbox , type the product name and search . Make sure that the above the textbox the option "Products" is selected in the radio buttons options ( SEE PICTURE ). Once your product is found click the link and you will find an option called "Write a Review" .If you cannot find your product , you can browse through the Product List By category . For that go to Ciao Home Page ( SEE PICTURE ). On the Left side you will find the Product Categories . Browse through them to find the Product of your choice on which you wish to write a review ( SEE PICTURE ).
13.A Final Word .
The more reviews you write and more rating you get for them , the more you will earn . So make a lot of friends but it is wise not to ask them to rate your reviews as this goes against Ciao's Terms of Service(TOS) . Refer to the help section for more information . You inform the member by posting on his/her wall something like "I 've read n rated your reviews , please take your time and go through my reviews , I have got some improtant informations there . Thank You ." . This is only an example . You may contact me as well for any kind of help . I will explain everything to them who are willing to work and has time to devote to working on this site . So please don't contact me if you are not serious .
